An account is required to host games, but not to play games hosted by others.

Yes. We will offer paid subscriptions that provide an ad-free gaming experience alongside a bunch of other awesome features, but for free users we do plan to use ads to help cover our hosting and development costs.

Yes! While we do plan to offer paid subscriptions that allow additional customization options, larger lobbies, private games, and lots of other cool stuff, our goal will always be to offer a fun, fully playable experience regardless of someone’s ability to pay. Pay-to-win games are terrible for everyone. We have no plans to make games that way.

No. We plan to make our games fully playable directly in modern browsers, with no downloads necessary! Our first game has been entirely developed on a 2014 MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM and only 1.4GB of free space as of writing this answer, so it also shouldn’t require a dedicated gaming machine to run well.
